SUMMIT HEAD START 0-5
The Summit Head Start 0-5 (HS0-5) program is comprehensive early childhood program for low-income families with children 0-5 years old. Pregnant woman can also apply. All enrolled families are invited to bilingual story times, bilingual playgroups and more fun events! HS 0-5 offers both Head Start and Early Head Start programs.
Children learn school readiness skills including:
Social and friendship skills
Language & literacy skills
Problem solving skills and self confidence
Parents have access to:
Parenting classes & tips
Connection to community resources
Mental heath consolations and resources
Early Head Start (EHS)
EHS is for families with children age 0-3. Participating centers include: Summit County Preschool, Lake Dillon Preschool, and Carriage House Early Learning Center.
