Noelle Sivon

HEAD START 0-5 DIRECTOR

Noelle was born and raised in Fort Collins, Colorado before moving to southern Colorado to attend school at Fort Lewis College in Durango.  Graduating with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology with a focus on developmental and cultural psychology, Noelle discovered her passion for connecting with people and her desire to work to support young children.  She also received her elementary teaching license and endorsement to teach culturally diverse populations.  Moving to Summit County in 2002, she worked as an English teacher supporting English Language Learners, a preschool teacher, and then spent fourteen years at The Family & Intercultural Resource Center managing the parenting education and support program.  Through this work, it became clear that the biggest impacts to young children come when both the child and their family are supported.  Noelle is grateful be welcomed onto the Early Childhood Options team where she can continue to advocate for equity in accessing high quality care for Summit County’s youngest children and their families.
