Shannon brings more than 20 years of experience in K–12 education, early childhood systems, grants management, contracts, and human resources. She has supported teams across state agencies, county government, and community organizations, with a focus on strengthening operations, improving service quality, and advancing programs that benefit young children and families. Before joining Early Childhood Options, she worked in roles spanning early intervention, regional early childhood systems, county grants and fiscal oversight, and municipal HR.

Shannon lives in Fairplay and enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, Brian, and their dogs, hiking, exploring, and taking in the quiet beauty of the Colorado mountains.
