ABOUT THE RIGHT START PROJECT

In Summit County, we know that quality early care and learning is critical for young children, families, and the community.  Early Childhood Professionals are the cornerstone of high quality early childhood education. Young children thrive when their teachers and caregivers have the knowledge, skills and supports they need to create positive relationships and respond to individual learning needs.

The Right Start Project is designed to improve quality, availability and affordability of early care and learning for Summit County families.

The objectives of this project are:

Ensure local working families have safe, quality care for their children,

Attract and retain quality early childhood teachers,

Provide parents with the tools to help them be their child’s first and best teacher,

Prepare our children for future school success!
