Breckenridge Montessori, an American Montessori Society full member school, is hiring the following positions for the 2017-18 school year:

Early Childhood Teacher (Full Time) – Early childhood education experience a must. Montessori certificate helpful but not required. Position description highlights include:

  • Co-coordinate all aspects of in-classroom primary curriculum
  • Co-primary responsibility for students during school hours
  • Organization and maintenance of classroom materials and environment
  • Weekly lesson planning and student tracking

Early Childhood Assistant Teacher or Intern (Part Time) – 25-30 hours per week. Early childhood education and Montessori experience helpful but not required.  Position description highlights include:

  • Assist Teacher and Director with in-classroom duties including supervision of children during lessons
  • Giving children introductory lessons
  • Supervision of children during free play and outside adventures
  • Helping with nap time, bathroom needs, cleaning of classroom & kitchen

Qualifications for both positions include:

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • AMS or AMI Montessori diploma desired or enrollment in AMS or AMI Montessori Training program.
  • Must pass a criminal background check

Toddler Teacher (40 hours per week)
Preschool Teaching (20-40 hours per week)
