3rd Annual Successful Child Conference
On Saturday, May 1, 2010 at the Beaver Run Conference Center in Breckenridge, CO, from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, the Summit County Young Child Conference Committee will present the 3rd Annual Successful Child Conference. Early Childhood expert, Dr. Lilian Katz, will provide a keynote address on "The Development of Social Competence". There will be booths, information tables, lunch, 3 workshop sessions, 6 training credit hours, Spanish workshops and Spanish translation of the keynote and networking with early childhood professionals and parents. FREE Advocacy Training
Community Partners for Children will host a free training opportunity for all parents and early childhood professionals about advocacy at a local level. Training will focus on the importance of early care and education. The Colorado Children's Campaign will be presenting the training from 6:00 pm - 8:00pm on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at the Medical Office Building in Frisco.
