Early Childhood Professionals are welcome to join us for a Project Learning Tree: Environmental Experiences for Early Childhood workshop on September 11, 2010.
Participants will receive a Project Learning Tree Guide which integrates nature-based exploration, art, literature, math, music and movement and outdoor play into early childhood education programs. The guide contains activities that encourage young children to explore the senses the seasons and neighborhood trees. The activities highlight the importance of kinetic learning and engagement by incorporating music and movement using an accompanying music CD.
The September 11th workshop will take place 9:00 am-12:30 pm at the Summit Community & Senior Center in Frisco. Cost is just $25 (includes a copy of the Guide, CD and Snack).
